My ShadowDark Class: The Empty-Handed Warrior (0.3)

I’ve just put something on Itch.io for the first time! It’s a PC class for ShadowDark RPG called The Empty-Handed Warrior. It’s free to download, and I’d love playtest feedback.

I’ve been thinking for a while about an unarmed fighter for Shadowdark RPG. (Actually I put up some earlier drafts of this idea on SD Discord about a year ago.) This is inspired in part by 5e’s Monk but is intended to cover other weaponless fighter archetypes as well.

Some goals:

• Provide interesting tactical choices without bogging down combat—Shadowdark’s quick turns are precious!
• Don’t be better at fighting than the Fighter class.
• Don’t declare any ability “special” that every PC should have, effectively stealing freedom from other players and the GM.
